- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Id be very careful when buying from this shop. I went to return unused items not long after buying them, all of which were still in original packaging. I didnt have the receipt with me, but was shocked to here the manager tell me that even with the receipt I would not be able to exchange the items, let alone get my money back. Even though I was told, upon my purchase, I could exchange the items if they were unused.
Unfortunately, this store has one of those old school refund policies in place, which says you can only take items back that have contravened legislation in the Sales of Goods Act 1979 (so for a fault, mainly).
If this is what it means to be buying from independent places now, Ill be buying from the bigger retail outlets and getting more consumer rights with my purchase. And Id urge others to do the same.By bebopboyle, March 11, 2020
